About the challenge:

Magic, madness, and magnificence! We know that's what you've been waiting for. Didn't you hear the hymn of paradox playing around you already? The countdown has begun and the veils will drop soon to give you a sight of ADVAITA- THE HYMN OF PARADOX.

Life is full of realms with paradoxes. The angels may sing to you now, and the very next moment shall witness Satan intoxicating you with lullabies. This is life and this hymn of paradox will create the rhythm for ADVAITA 2k23.

"Hackfest-Advaita" inter-college hackathon. This event is an opportunity for students from different colleges to come together, share their knowledge, and collaborate on innovative projects and ideas in the field of technology.

Round 1:

The initial phase of the hackathon is the Idea Submission Round. All participants are required to submit their ideas before the event commences. The organizers will carefully review and evaluate all the submissions and only the most promising and innovative ideas will be selected to proceed to the next round. During this round, participants must present their ideas in the form of a PowerPoint presentation or a talking video. The proposal should clearly outline the problem that is being addressed, the proposed solution, and the potential impact of the solution on the relevant field. The deadline for submitting ideas is set as 02/10/2023 6:00pm, so make sure to submit your proposals in a timely manner.

Round 2:

The second round of the hackathon, known as the implementation round, is where participants will have the opportunity to bring their ideas to life by developing working prototypes within a 24-hour timeframe. This round will take place on the IIIT Bhubaneswar campus on 02/03/2023, where teams will have access to various resources, including travel (subject to terms and conditions), and support to assist them in completing their projects. On the final day of the event, teams will present their final products to a panel of judges who will evaluate them based on factors such as originality, feasibility, and impact.

What to Build:
This is an IDEATION Round. Participants are required to submit their ideas only within the timeframe.
What to Submit: Participants can submit their ideas in form of PPT / Talking Presentation / Video / Docs. Their motto should be to make the evaluator understand their Idea.

  • Innovation
    Could this product be used as a stepping stone for even better products? Has it confronted a new problem? Does the final product have a sustainable lifecycle? How strong is their awareness of how others are attempting to solve the same problem?
  • Impact
    How much edge does the idea have? Is it original and cleverly thought out?
  • Production readiness
    Rating on the proposed plan of the rolloutY Examine and evaluate the teams and map it against the marketY Is this idea going to make money, or at least contribute to the solution that will? Is there a potential to grow the idea into something profitable?
  • Adaptability / Feasibility
    Will the society adapt to the proposed solution? How much realistic is the idea? How easy or difficult to implement? Is it cost-effective?
